Two amazing guys who started as colleagues and then quickly became close friends. This was a commissioned piece for Jonah to be a present for Vitor. Vitor is a very talented creative, so it was a real pleasure to get his stamp of approval for this gift. 🎂🥳🎈
Fields is the first 3D artwork I’ve created. These are exploration for CHIWARA. We intend to give people innovative story telling by offering both real photography and 3d renderings. These were created using 4 pieces of software. Marvelous Designer and Substance Painter for clothing and materials. Daz 3d for avatar and animation. Blender for scene setup, lighting, camera and animation. After effects was also used to create the video.
Inspired by the vibes on her newest album and the amazing artwork created for each of her songs titles. @snohaalegra
I’ve been attracted to rap tees recently and got inspired to create one that isn’t photo based as originals but more inline with the aesthetic that I currently work with. Not a huge basketball follower anymore but LaMelo has definitely been entertaining to see from high school to NBA so thought this would be a great match. Also I’ve now transitioned to drawing on a tablet with procreate and the experience is so good, I highly recommend it!
Inspired by the amazing works @delehag go check his stuff out! Also been having fun using paper textures and new scattering brushes.
Here is a couple I loved working with. Composed of two really talented artists. Solomon has a been a best friend for a long time, we have come up with nonsense languages and viral ideas. All three of us have worked creatively together and made some pretty cool artwork. This commission was a joy to work with and one of my favourites so far.
You can check out her work here and his here.
This is Sameen, she is a very dear friend of mine. She also likes to draw patterns specially of leaves, so I tried mimicking her. She loves aliens and black dresses, all types of similar looking black dresses.
This is Fariba and Oumar. I once made a drawing for them for their wedding, who knows where it is right now, I wouldn’t pass it by them if they “gave it away”. I hope this one serves them better. Oumar was a good friend of my brother first but I do remember getting closer to him later as I would constantly go to his dorm room to see what new Jordan’s he got this month.
Fariba is an awesome lady whom listens to you about whatever topic you want to discuss about.
Another Alpaca, another style coming through.
Got inspired by the amazing works of @_dotpigeon. He paints beautiful interiors often displaying artwork by other artists as part of it’s deco. This is the loft I keep thinking about having one day. It’s a portion of it which looks out to a sea and includes a giant variegated monstera. It was fun practicing a very new style to me. Will continue and show the rest of loft soon.
Felt inspired by the new Dune film and it's beautiful and simplistic aesthetic.
Angie & Adam a very caring ambitious family.
This was an interesting one. This is Jenny and she blogs at littlegirlattorney. The inspiration behind this piece are her experiences within the judicial system as a female specially after being called a little girl attorney by a well known lawyer.
Contemplating and reflecting about her experiences I could only think about the source of these issues and as bahai’s we both believe unity is at the heart of it all.
I don’t know if this is a cop-out but I think some elements that identify with unity came out or where realized, once the piece was done.
One of the elements are the use of primary colors representing unity in diversity. Normally I don’t make such use of colours in a way that they take up a big and equalish portion of the piece, something I just naturally gravitated towards while playing around with it.
This is my brother, he is a very caring and generous man. I applaud him for his patience and ability to balance being a great father, husband and his biking hobby.
Since he’s quite the bike enthusiast I’ve made sure to include bike type things in this portrait if you can spot them.
This @jayversace he makes cool viral dance videos and wear cool 90’s type clothing. I originally made this in the hopes that he would post it on his IG wall and then I’d be famous over night. He ended up liking the post and that was it.
This is Marco, a long time high school friend. This is the first one to be done for someone else. There are a-lot of elements in here that have to do with his mixed ethnicity, faith and personal history and it was a pleasure to create.
This is the first of these portraits. I had started playing around with the cutout filter on illustrator a little bit but my design skills where wack back then so I abandoned it. Eventually after getting an opportunity doing some design my skills got better, then when I came back to it things where alot smoother. Something new and interesting came out of it that contained shapes, colors and patterns very much influenced by pop-art and memphis group.
After doing some more of these I started adding my own symbols and making patterns from them. I felt this added meaning that came from my interpretation of the subject.
Right now I still don’t understand what the hell I’m doing but I feel like its allowing me to express myself and also reflect on a subject.
